Chances are, you don’t need to buy a GPS — you already have one. Android and iOS smartphones incorporate both a mobile antenna and GPS antenna. The combination of both is a faster and a more accurate way of figuring out exactly where you are. However, even without a mobile signal the smart phone’s GPS works perfectly well as long as you’ve downloaded a basemap covering the area where you re cycling — you’ll still be able to locate yourself and navigate your route.
