This undulating route takes you north east from Robertsbridge to approach Bedgebury Pinetum from the eastern side. Take care on the B2244 (Hawkhurst road) although its a straight road traffic tends to be fast. Strava wouldn’t save the track into the Bedgebury so if you want go in and have a cup of tea at the visitor centre, follow sustrans route 18 track in a (just about manageable for road bikes) and then retrace to pick up the return route. This will add on an extra 5 miles or so to the ride. Route 18 will take you to the western end of the park and out onto the B 2079 where you would follow this to the main entrance. However it is a pleasant 10 min walk through the pinetum by taking the footpath before the track climbs up to the B2079.
